InnGrid: Reservation Calendar

InnGrid is an occupancy and booking calendar for people who run a small place — guesthouses, B&Bs, holiday apartments, cottages, agritourism, glamping and hostels. The calendar itself is free forever, with unlimited rooms and unlimited bookings: it is not a trial and there is no per-room pricing. There is no InnGrid account to create and no server of the developer's in the middle — your bookings live on your device and work with no signal at all. The main screen is a rooms-by-nights board you can zoom from a week to a month, with booking bars colored by status and today always in view. Overlapping confirmed stays are refused outright, so a double booking cannot be saved by accident, and back-to-back stays (one guest leaving as another arrives) are handled correctly. A booking takes three taps and can cover several rooms at once; same-day day stays are supported as well, for breakfast guests, day rooms or dog day care. Free features include a guest directory with search and stay history, monthly and yearly revenue and occupancy statistics, a daily housekeeping list you can send to your cleaner as plain text, ticking rooms off as they are cleaned, meals per booking with a daily kitchen count, arrival and unpaid-advance reminders, a Today home-screen widget, a full data backup, CSV export and import, and .ics calendar export. The interface is available in 24 languages. Premium is optional and adds four things: a connection with Booking.com, Airbnb and other booking sites — their bookings appear on your board through an iCal link (also Google Calendar or any calendar address), and each room gets its own calendar link you paste into those sites so they see which nights are taken (only the word “Reserved”, never guest names); private iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac; several buildings on one board; and calendar sharing with a co-host or partner, who installs the free app and pays nothing. Inviting staff is a separate, deliberately narrower link: a cleaner or cook sees only the day plan — rooms to turn over and meals — never your bookings, guest names or prices, and ticks rooms off as they are done. Premium costs 19.99 USD per year, with a 14-day free trial, or 49.99 USD once. What InnGrid deliberately does not do: it is not a channel manager — the connection with booking sites runs through calendar links the sites check every few hours, not live, and InnGrid never changes prices or listings there; there is no online booking engine, no guest messaging, no invoicing and no API. It runs only on Apple devices — there is no Android app and no web version. If you need a channel manager or a browser-based system, other tools are the better fit.
