About Lead Sheet Pro

Musicians in bands waste hours rewriting the same chart into different keys. A song in concert C needs a part in D for trumpet and tenor sax, A for alto sax, G for French horn, and bass clef for bass and trombone. Most people do this by hand or wrestle with full notation software like Sibelius or MuseScore, which is powerful but slow for a quick chart. Bands end up with folders of scribbled-on printouts and the classic “which version are we on?” at rehearsal. Lead Sheet Pro fixes this. You write a lead sheet once, with chords, melody and lyrics on one clean page, and every player can view it in their own instrument’s key with one tap. There are 14 instrument views, including Bb, Eb, F and bass clef. How it works: Type chords the way you’d say them (Cmaj7, F#m7b5, C/E) and enter melody from your computer keyboard, a MIDI keyboard or by tapping the stave. Lyrics split into syllables automatically. Share a sheet privately with bandmates by email. Everyone sees edits live, in their own key. Play it back with a backing band (bass, drums and piano) in six styles: swing, two-feel, ballad, bossa, pop and rock. Build setlists, use performance mode on gigs, and print or export to PDF. Pro also imports and exports MusicXML for Sibelius, MuseScore and Dorico. Who it’s for: gigging musicians, band leaders, horn players, singers, worship bands, songwriters, and music teachers preparing parts for school ensembles. It runs in the browser on computer and iPad, with nothing to download, and you can try it without signing up. Free accounts include 3 sheets and sharing. Pro is £5.99 a month or £60 a year, and every new account gets a 7-day Pro trial with no card needed. No adverts on any plan. Built by a UK saxophone player and music teacher who got tired of transposing parts by hand.
