About Milcroft

Milcroft is a fast, distraction-free way to read today's news from every angle. It pulls 491 hand-curated feeds from the world's best journalism into one clean reader — 42 sections spanning world news, economics, investigative reporting, AI, science, markets, and twenty regional editions. Every headline links straight to the original publisher. No accounts, no algorithm, no tracking, no infinite scroll. Every section carries a factual briefing compiled deterministically from the feeds themselves, and Milcroft AI (the spin desk) analyses the day's most-covered stories: a neutral "straight version" of each story, the frames different outlets lead with, and the loaded words a neutral telling doesn't need. Also on board: a daily email digest, full RSS feeds, a verified jobs desk, a live markets board, story archives, and a ⌘K command palette to jump to any section or source. Free, no sign-up, works in any browser, installable as a PWA.

Builder here. I made Milcroft because I wanted a fast, quiet way to read the news: hand-picked feeds from the world's best journalism, no algorithm, no tracking, every link straight to the publisher.
