About MiniBox
MiniBox is a lightweight desktop mini player made for people who want simple music controls without keeping a full music app open all the time. It started as a personal-use project because I wanted a small always-on-top player that could sit on my desktop while I worked, studied, or played games. After building it, I realized other people might find it useful too, especially if they like compact tools that stay out of the way. MiniBox currently supports Spotify playback controls and local audio playback. You can play, pause, skip songs, adjust volume, view the current queue, import local files or folders, switch between Spotify and Local Files, and customize the app with themes and a small desktop pet. It also includes setup guidance, update checks, patch notes, and a minimal draggable interface. The goal of MiniBox is not to replace Spotify or other full music apps. Instead, it works as a small companion window for quick music control, with a clean pixel-inspired style and a focus on being simple, lightweight, and useful.

Refreshing. Great UI and minimal. I'm a fan of 2026 pixel winamp. Let's go!
