About MousePollingRateTest

MousePollingRateTest is a free browser-based tool for measuring how consistently your mouse reports movement to your computer. It supports polling rates from 125Hz to 8000Hz and reports average rate, peak rate, low 5%, jitter, stability, dropouts, and update-interval distribution. No download, installation, or account is required. All motion data is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded. You can use the test to compare polling-rate settings, USB ports, wireless receiver placement, firmware changes, and system configurations. The results reflect browser-observed input timing rather than raw firmware telemetry, so the site clearly explains its methodology and limitations. It is designed for gamers, hardware enthusiasts, reviewers, and anyone troubleshooting inconsistent mouse performance.

A browser polling-rate test is useful when you are diagnosing a new mouse and do not want to install a vendor app. I would want the page to show both the reported rate and whether it holds steady under load.

Hi PeerPush! I built a free browser-based mouse polling rate test for 125–8000Hz. It measures average and peak Hz, low 5%, jitter, stability, and dropouts. No download or signup. Feedback welcome!
