About MyDebtLens

MyDebtLens is a U.S.-focused debt payoff planner and consumer debt clarity workspace. It helps users enter their own debt numbers, compare payoff routes, understand monthly pressure, and see estimated timelines in plain English, without connecting a bank account. The app combines Scenario Lab, dashboard guidance, debt overview, calendar timing, saved reports, and demo mode so users can review payoff options before choosing a plan. The public site also includes Can I afford it? Beta, a free quick check for testing a possible new monthly commitment, plus interactive consumer debt data pages covering credit cards, auto loans, student loans, and mortgage delinquency trends.

New MyDebtLens research update

We analyzed a random sample of 2000 r/personalfinance submissions, plus separate reviewed cohorts from r/Debt and r/debtfree, to better understand when people seek debt-related help and what they are trying to decide. One result: an estimated 15.3% of the r/personalfinance sample concerned planning or managing existing debt. The bigger takeaway for us was that the questions were rarely about debt balances alone. Savings, cash flow, consolidation, payoff order, timing and changing circumstances all showed up in the decision. That’s closely connected to why MyDebtLens combines debt payoff planning with the wider monthly picture. Full findings and methodology:https://mydebtlens.com/go/pp-0812-lhz6b6

How can I import my data exactly? Do I have to do it manually?

mydebtlens
@mydebtlens

Setup is manual today because MyDebtLens doesn’t require bank connections, so you stay in control of what you share. We’re exploring CSV import as a future option. What kind of import would work best for you?
