Nyx AI is an AI workspace for Windows for chat, documents, code and previews, where you bring your own model. Run one locally through Ollama and LM studio with no account and no API key, or connect an OpenAI, Anthropic or Ollama Cloud account you already have. Requests go from your machine to the provider you chose; NYX LIMITED runs no model backend in between. WHAT IT DOES • Pick your model: local through Ollama, Lm studio, or an OpenAI, Anthropic or Ollama Cloud account. • Open a folder in Nyx AI Lab and one agent reads, writes and refactors files in your workspace. • Make real files: PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint-compatible, straight from chat. • Preview documents right in the app: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus HTML, SVG and Markdown. • Run shell commands, Python, builds and tests. • Chat about anything, ask questions, plan and write. No project needed • Inspect Git changes, create commits and branches. • Search code semantically or by keyword and jump between symbols. • Live-preview your project, and share that preview on your local network when you approve it. • Search the web and read pages, or turn both off with one setting. • Schedule prompts, reports and checks: one-off, interval, daily, weekly, monthly or cron. • Theme it light, dark or system with custom colours and adjustable fonts (the editor and terminal stay dark), and have replies read aloud using your installed system voices. YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Stored locally by default: chats, files, settings and provider credentials are stored on your machine. Cloud or remote features you configure can send relevant data to the provider you choose, as explained below. • Bring your own AI: a local model through Ollama and lm studio, or a provider account you control. • Certain higher risk actions can require a native Windows confirmation that the model cannot approve for itself. • Sandboxed execution: a Windows AppContainer tier where supported. • No app analytics or usage telemetry is sent to NYX LIMITED.
