Riffable

Riffable is a collaborative writing platform and storytelling community where stories grow one short piece at a time, called a riff. Writers can start a story, continue someone else’s work, or create alternate paths that turn a narrative into branching fiction. The community can vote on riffs, follow authors, discuss story paths, and help shape the best versions. Riffable is built for creative writing, story prompts, fiction writers, children’s stories, classroom writing projects, and anyone who wants to make writing feel more social. Stories can later become books with covers, illustrations, audiobooks, and EPUB export. AI-assisted writing is available as optional support, but the core of Riffable is human collaboration. We’re currently in beta and inviting early writers, readers, parents, teachers, and creative communities to help shape the platform.
