About a month from "I wonder if I could build a game" to live on the App Store. Claude Code (Anthropic's CLI coding agent) was the development partner from idea through launch, architecture iteration, debugging, native plugin integration, the App Store flow, build scripts, deployment infrastructure. Claude carried the technical workload while I focused on game feel, tuning, and the calls that needed human judgment. The same partnership continues post-launch for marketing operations and ongoing maintenance. WHAT PLAYERS ACTUALLY GET - A complete arcade game playable in short sessions or long ones, your choice - Genuine retro-arcade tension; the difficulty curve is real and the bosses are designed to be hard - An upgrade loop where progress rewards practice, not payment - Active development — patches and feature updates ship regularly - Same game across phone, tablet, desktop, pick whichever device suits your moment WHERE TO PLAY - iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rift-drifter/id6764129632 - Android (Beta, Production within the week): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.nosprite.voiddrifter - Browser: https://nosprite.com/games/rift-drifter/ - itch.io: https://playnosprite.itch.io/rift-drifter THE STUDIO NoSprite is a one-person studio building free retro arcade games using pure vector graphics, no pixel sprites, no asset libraries, no microtransactions. If you're curious about AI-assisted solo dev, what it actually looks like to ship a real, distributed, maintained product in a month with an AI coding partner, Rift Drifter is one data point.
