SciCollab

SciCollab is a collaboration and knowledge sharing platform built for the scientific community. It helps researchers and people entering research connect with the right people, discover opportunities, share knowledge, and collaborate on meaningful work. Instead of focusing only on publications and professional profiles, SciCollab is designed around the human side of research: finding collaborators, discussing ideas, learning from others, getting mentorship, and building a community around scientific work. Users can create profiles, discover other researchers, join and create communities, collaborate on scientific projects, communicate with others, and discover research opportunities. A core part of SciCollab is Knowls — a way for users to share structured knowledge, ideas, explanations, resources, and research related content with the community. The goal is to make useful knowledge easier to discover and build upon rather than leaving it scattered across papers, forums, and disconnected conversations. SciCollab is also being developed around mentorship and direct collaboration, giving researchers and early career members a way to find people who can help them learn, contribute, or work together. The long-term vision is to build a place where scientific collaboration happens beyond the paper itself, where people can find each other, exchange knowledge, form collaborations, develop projects, and grow together. SciCollab is currently free to use and is being actively shaped around feedback from researchers and the scientific community.
