About ScreenWeaver
ScreenWeaver is a production workspace where the screenplay, the storyboard and the shot stay in the same document. You write in an industry-standard screenplay editor — unlimited projects and pages on the free tier — with the outline and the beat sheet kept in sync with the script as you rewrite. Screenplays export to PDF and Final Draft (FDX). The part that is usually missing elsewhere: storyboard frames stay attached to the exact slugline and beat they came from, so moving a scene moves its images with it. A continuity system tracks characters, locations and objects as reusable entities, so what was established in scene 3 is still true in scene 47 — the thing that breaks the moment a script, a moodboard and a folder of AI prompts live in three separate tools. From there, scenes become shot-ready prompts for AI image and video generation, with the surrounding screenplay as context instead of a blank prompt box. It runs in the browser, installs as an app, and keeps editing offline. Real-time collaboration, comments and version history for small teams. Built for films, series, commercials, 3D animation, anime and music videos. Made by Outerframe Studio in France, currently in open beta, supported by an ElevenLabs Grant. Free tier: screenplay editor, unlimited projects and pages, outline and beats, PDF and Final Draft export. Storyboard Beta adds the storyboard workspace and generation from the screenplay at $9.99 per month.

Having the screenplay, storyboard, continuity details and eventual shot prompts tied to the same scenes could eliminate a lot of the fragmentation that happens when production work is spread across separate tools.
We built ScreenWeaver because the script, the storyboard and the shot kept living in three separate tools. The free tier is the full screenplay editor — unlimited projects, PDF and Final Draft export.
