SpellCast is a UK primary spelling app for Reception through Year 6, built around how children actually learn to spell rather than around the weekly word list and the Friday test. Most of us learned to spell the same way. A list went home on Monday, the child copied it out every night, the test happened on Friday, and the words were forgotten by half term.
