Still Mirror is a thumb-worn physical object designed to change how a moment feels through deep breathing, sensory perception, and a familiar hand-to-mouth gesture. At its heart is a simple physical interaction. When the user exhales through Still Mirror, gentle airflow resistance creates a noticeable physical cue, encouraging a slower exhale and deeper breathing. Rather than asking the user to follow a breathing exercise or technique, Still Mirror makes the experience intuitive and personal. A removable Presence module adds another dimension: a subtle olfactory experience perceived only by the person using it. Together, the physical sensation of airflow resistance, the private sensory experience, and the familiar hand-to-mouth gesture create a small personal ritual for moments when emotions or inner states shift. Still Mirror combines a precision-machined titanium Form with an interchangeable Presence module. It contains no electronics, batteries, sensors, screens, apps, or data tracking. Nothing needs to be switched on, charged, paired, or connected.
