SysWP Radar exists because traditional analytics tools have a blind spot. Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom — they all rely on JavaScript running in the visitor's browser. That means anything that doesn't execute JS — bots, AI crawlers, RSS readers, attackers — completely disappears from your reports. In a typical WordPress site, this hidden traffic is 30 to 60% of all real activity. You're flying blind on the most important parts. Radar is server-side. A pixel captures every request that hits the server, regardless of whether the visitor runs JavaScript. A deterministic classifier (regex + reverse DNS + bot scoring) sorts traffic into 9 categories so you can see exactly who is touching your site: human visitors, verified bots like Googlebot, AI crawlers from OpenAI/Anthropic/Perplexity, SEO tools from your competitors, attackers running sqlmap or brute-forcing wp-login.php, and more. The optional WordPress plugin — published in the official wordpress.org directory — adds server-side beacon coverage for endpoints the JavaScript pixel can't see, like /wp-json/, xmlrpc.php, and admin probes. Privacy is built in: IP addresses are anonymized client-side before transmission (last octet zeroed for IPv4, last 80 bits for IPv6), no third-party cookies, optional cookieless mode that eliminates the need for a cookie banner.
