About ThumbnailMaker
ThumbnailMaker turns a description of your video into a finished 1280×720 YouTube thumbnail. Type what the video is about, pick a style, and get a file you can upload. No editor, no layers, no design skills. It does one thing, for one platform. Everything is sized for YouTube: 1280×720 for videos, 9:16 for Shorts. On landscape thumbnails the bottom-right corner is kept clear of subject and text, because YouTube stamps its duration badge there — that rule is switched off for Shorts, which don't show the overlay. A built-in preview shows the result at the size it actually appears in the feed, which is where most thumbnails fall apart. When the first result isn't right, you correct it by instruction. Type "make the text bigger" or "remove the arrow" and only that changes, for as many rounds as you need. Most AI image tools make you regenerate instead, which loses the 90% that was already working along with the 10% that wasn't. Pro plans add Auto-Polish: the model critiques its own output against the same principles it generated from, then applies one concrete fix before you see the result. Two tools are free and need no account at all — a YouTube thumbnail viewer and a thumbnail text editor. New accounts get 40 credits, no card required. Paid plans start at $12/month for 400 credits.

Built this because when an AI thumbnail is 90% right, every tool offers one button: generate again. Here you fix it by instruction instead — only that part changes.
