CatLogg Console

The last few weeks have been some of the busiest yet for this project. It has a new name, it runs on a new platform, and the features people use every day have gotten much better. Here's what changed. Meet CatLogg Console The app formerly known as Tiles is now CatLogg Console. The new name comes with a new logo, and the old name is gone throughout, from the installer down to the Azure resources and sign-in apps it creates in your tenant. (The dashboard's "Tiles mode" layout keeps its name. It's still the best way to see everything at once.) To make the change cleanly, we rebuilt first-time setup and then tested it from scratch on a blank Azure subscription. We fixed every snag we hit along the way. Note: existing Tiles installs aren't migrated automatically. A fresh CatLogg Console setup takes a few minutes and starts you on the current backend. Now on macOS CatLogg Console now ships as a native Mac app, packaged as a .dmg. It includes the same guided Azure setup that Windows users get from the installer, built into a first-run wizard. Install it, sign in, and the wizard registers the app, deploys your backend and sets permissions, all inside your own tenant. Windows users still get the one-click setup EXE with the guided installer. Deployment Studio: real deploys, fewer surprises Deployment Studio is the guided way to create Azure resources from CatLogg Console. You pick a blueprint and set a few options, and it runs preflight → policy gates → what-if → deploy. This release makes it a real deployment tool: It deploys as you, not as the app. The CatLogg Console backend stays read-only. Deployments use your own Azure permissions, and the Activity Log shows you as the person who made the change. Nobody gets broad write access just because they installed a dashboard.
