About Unruh
Is your mechanical watch running fast or slow? Most owners guess, or hold it next to their phone. Unruh measures it properly: tap the moment your second hand hits 12, and Unruh compares that instant with atomic reference time. The offset appears right away, down to a fraction of a second. HOW IT WORKS • The reference comes from atomic time via NTP synchronisation, not from your phone's clock • Offset measured to fractions of a second and turned into a rate in seconds per day • Out by whole minutes? Correct the minute inside the measurement • Haptic feedback at the moment you tap, plus an optional daily reminder YOUR COLLECTION • Brand, model, movement, serial number and a photo for every watch • Offset and rate charts over 7 and 30 days, with average, minimum and maximum • Pick a standard and see at a glance whether your watch meets it: COSC Chronometer (-4/+6 s/day), METAS Master Chronometer (0/+5 s/day), Rolex Superlative (-2/+2 s/day) or general mechanical FREE DIAGNOSTICS • Timegrapher (beta): live beat rate and seconds per day through the microphone • Magnetism check with the built-in magnetometer UNRUH PRO: ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION • Unlimited watches (the free version holds three) • Log how each watch rested: dial up, dial down, crown left, crown up, crown down or on the wrist • Unruh works out the resting position that best compensates your watch's rate • Full history with 90-day and all-time charts, plus CSV export • Pay once, keep it forever. All future Pro features are included PRIVACY Unruh collects nothing about you. It only contacts public NTP time servers, and the timegrapher listens while it measures without recording, storing or sending any audio. For iPhone, fully localised in English and German.
