About Verbia

I'm a non-native English speaker, and I often have the same problem when replying online: I know exactly what I want to say. I just don't know how to say it naturally in English. Translation isn't really the problem — sometimes I don't even have a sentence to translate. I have an intent. ChatGPT can solve this, but the workflow usually means copying the conversation, pasting it into ChatGPT, explaining what I want to say, asking for the right tone, then copying the answer back. So I built Verbia around a different idea: Context + your intent → the right words. For example, I can receive a message in English and simply tell Verbia in Chinese: "Tell him I probably can't finish it by Friday, but I'll confirm tomorrow. Keep it friendly." Verbia understands the conversation context and turns that intent into a natural English reply. The language you think in doesn't have to be the language you reply in. And I don't want AI deciding what I should say. I decide what I mean; AI helps me express it. The interesting question for me is that ChatGPT is already very good at this. So I'm not betting on a better model. I'm betting that removing the copy/paste, context explaining, language switching, and prompt writing makes this useful enough to be its own product. That's what I'm trying to validate now. If you're also a non-native English speaker: do you run into this problem? And if you already use ChatGPT for replies, does the copy/paste workflow bother you? https://verbia.henriz.dev You mean it. Verbia says it.
