Turning one raw recording into finished work is where creators lose the day. The clips, show notes, blog post, social captions, the published video. Each is a separate task in a separate tool, done by hand. Most software that helps charges a monthly subscription whether you process one file or a hundred, which rarely works for a solo creator, or a small newsroom. We know because we are one. The Woven Record built Weftly to clear our own backlog of interviews without losing a weekend to editing every time. What Weftly does Weftly is pay-per-job AI media processing. You send it a file, it does one specific task, and you pay only for that job. No subscription, no minimum, no account. The jobs: - Transcribe audio or video to a word-level SRT ($0.50 audio / $1.00 video) - Summarize a long recording into a summary plus the full transcript ($0.75 / $1.25) - Find clips: rank the most compelling moments with timestamps and hook text ($2.00) - Cut a clip, horizontal or vertical 9:16 for short-form social ($0.50 each) - Publish a finished video straight to YouTube Related jobs reuse the same uploaded source for 72 hours, so five clips from one video is one upload and five $0.50 charges, not five uploads. Prices are even lower if you pay with MPP USDC payments. Works with MP4, MOV, WebM, or audio up to 5GB, and most jobs finish in minutes. To start, point your AI tool at api.weftly.ai/mcp. Setup takes a couple of minutes. Built for agentic workflows Weftly runs as an MCP server, so an AI agent calls it directly as a tool: transcribe, find clips, cut, publish, no human clicking through a UI. Nothing to download or install: Weftly runs on our servers and plugs into any MCP host you already use, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, OpenClaw, even a phone through Discord. We also publish open skills that chain these jobs into complete workflows, so an agent can go from raw footage to a titled, thumbnailed, published clip, or write per-platform social posts and strip filler words, in one run. The payment layer is what keeps the agent in the flow. When a job needs paying, Weftly returns an MPP challenge the agent signs and pays inline with USDC. No browser redirect, no card form, no handoff to a person. The agent hits the paywall, pays, and keeps working. Weftly never sees your key. Prefer to pay by card? The same response also carries a Stripe Checkout link. Pay per call is the auth, so there is no API key to manage and no signup. That per-job price also covers what you would otherwise run and pay for yourself: the transcription and video compute, the storage, and the model tokens the processing would burn on your own bill. Build this pipeline in-house and you are maintaining encoders, rotating API keys, and paying for idle compute between jobs. With Weftly the agent makes one call and none of that is yours to run, pay for, or keep working. What it looks like in practice One 45-minute interview, one conversation with Claude: find the best clips ($2.00, which transcribes the video as a free byproduct), cut three of them ($1.50), then have the agent write the blog post and social captions from the transcript find_clips already returned. About $3.50, no separate transcription step, no tool switching, no re-uploads. Files auto-delete within 24 to 72 hours. The result: work that used to need a subscription and a manual pipeline now runs as a few cents per job, whether a person or an agent is driving, which leaves creators free to keep creating.
