Customers can now add their own FAQs to ZenOp by editing a file
Quick update from ZenOp this week. Until now, the AI receptionist's FAQ knowledge was driven by a hardcoded library. If a customer wanted to add their own custom Q&A, they had to wait for us to ship it. Now? They edit a Google Sheet, run a sync script, and the new FAQs are live for their AI to use on the next call. Each row in the sheet defines: scope (general or industry-specific), type (faq/instruction/directive), question text, and answer. The sync script downloads the sheet as CSV, validates the schema, and writes it into the AI's knowledge file. No code deploy needed for content updates. The format also fixed an embarrassing bug: the "General Questions" section in customer dashboards was rendering empty because no rows matched the right scope. That's resolved now. Why this matters: faster iteration on what the AI knows, and customers don't need an engineer to add a "Do you accept walk-ins?" FAQ. Small change, real time savings.
