Asterive is a browser-first note-taking app for keeping notes, documents, images, recordings, links, and other context in one searchable library. Users can write in a familiar rich-text editor or work directly with Markdown, organize content with folders and labels, and search across notes, filenames, extracted document text, OCR results, and transcripts when available. Asterive is designed around portability and user control. Notes can be exported as text, Markdown, or a portable archive, and existing libraries can be imported from Notion, Evernote, Obsidian/Markdown, and Google Keep. Its AI assistant can answer questions using selected notes and propose changes that users review before applying. Asterive includes a free plan for core note-taking, organization, search, and portable export. Pro adds higher limits plus advanced AI, note history, transcription, and additional export workflows.
