How AI and people discover Builders' Echo on PeerPush

About Builders' Echo
Builders' Echo is a two-sided marketplace where companies run real, paid hiring contests and developers prove skill through blind-judged, GitHub-backed submissions — built to work for both sides of the table, not just one. For companies: post a contest with the Contest Creation Wizard, fund a real prize pool escrowed via Stripe Connect, and review submissions through the Company Dashboard. Blind Judging strips name, photo, school, and LinkedIn before anyone scores the work, so you evaluate the code first and the candidate second. Every submission also gets a 0–100 Originality Score (AST-level code comparison + semantic embedding similarity across the whole contest) — AI tools are allowed, copying isn't. Top performers get fast-tracked straight to interviews, and pgvector-backed talent discovery lets you find builders by demonstrated work instead of resume keywords. You see real, ranked output before you schedule a single interview. For builders: it's free to compete. Submit real work via GitHub, get ranked on a public leaderboard, and get paid from a real, escrowed prize pool — not "we'll consider you for the role." Every contest builds your Skill Passport: verified badges, credential pages, and a public profile that accumulates durable proof-of-work across contests, whether or not you win a specific one. No degree line, no warm intro, no ATS keyword filter standing between you and getting seen — the work is what gets judged. That's the mechanism behind democratizing hiring: neither side has to trust the other's paperwork, because both sides are looking at the same evidence. Starter contests are $299 (free for the first 10 companies during early access, no credit card). Pro is custom, founder-led pricing for teams that want promoted distribution and priority placement.

Still looking for the first batch of users
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been refining Builders’ Echo based on early conversations with both builders and hiring teams, and now I’m looking for a small group of “founding” users to help shape the next iteration. If you’re a hiring manager or founder, I’m looking for 3–5 teams willing to run a real, paid contest using Builders’ Echo’s Contest Creation Wizard and blind judging flow. You’ll get help designing the challenge, setting up Stripe-escrowed prize pools, and interpreting Originality Scores and leaderboard outcomes so it feels like a low-friction experiment rather than another tool rollout. If you’re a developer, I’m looking for 20–30 builders who want to stress-test the experience of submitting GitHub-backed work, getting ranked on public leaderboards, and building up a Skill Passport—verified proof-of-work you can reuse across roles, not just this one contest. In return, early users will get direct access to me (founder-led support), input into the product roadmap, and custom pricing for future contests. If you’re interested in being part of the first batch, drop a comment here or reach out via the contact info on my PeerPush profile and I’ll share more detail

This is a thoughtful take on modern hiring with a strong focus on fairness and real-world skills. Wishing Builders' Echo great success and a thriving community!
Built because great engineers get filtered by resumes. Builders' Echo flips the funnel — GitHub-backed contests, blind judging, ranked outcomes. Feedback from builders & hiring teams welcome!
