Find a Pro helps Texas homeowners find a home-service pro they can trust, and then keeps track of the house. Every pro on the list is matched to Texas state records before it's listed: the license file for the trades the state licenses (A/C, plumbing, electrical and more), and an active business registration for the ones it doesn't. Licenses are rechecked every day, and a lapse shows on the listing the next morning. Each listing says what was checked and where it came from. No pro pays to be listed or to rank, and your number goes only to the pro you pick. Today that's about 26,000 pros across 34 kinds of work in 20 Texas metro areas, from San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth to El Paso and the Rio Grande Valley.
