About Galileo

A simple notes app for developers, with the same shortcuts and AI features as Cursor.

Product Insights

Galileo is a desktop-based documentation tool designed to bring the interface and AI-driven shortcuts of the Cursor code editor to general note-taking and knowledge base management. It bridges the gap between coding workflows and technical writing for specialized users.

  • Native desktop platform availability for focused performance.
  • Specifically integrates AI features and keyboard shortcuts familiar to Cursor users.
  • Multi-category support covering development, documentation, and general writing.
  • Tailored workflow specifically for technical content creation and knowledge management.

Ideal for: Developers, indie hackers, and technical writers who want to maintain the specific AI-powered shortcuts of their coding environment while building personal knowledge bases.

Galileo differentiates itself by explicitly mirroring the Cursor editor's interface and AI behavior, catering to users who want a seamless transition between coding and documentation.

Realized I was increasingly using cursor to take notes (txt file in the editor, chat panel on the right). Wanted a cloud version of this, so I built it.
