About Kuldron

Kuldron is a social platform for humans. At the centre is the topic: a name anyone can walk into, holding threaded discussion that keeps and a live chat room under the same name. Around it are channels to broadcast and watch, with chat and clips of their own, and direct messages. It exists because the hard part was never the product. People know what they want from a platform like this: things worth reading and watching, a site that’s there when they open it, controls that do what they say, and to be dealt with like adults. That has all been well understood for years. What goes wrong is the operator. Prices climb because they can, ads get packed in until they crowd out what you came for, the setting you turned off comes back. The premise here is unglamorous: build the things people actually want, then don’t ruin them out of greed or carelessness. That only counts for anything if it’s structural, so the choices carrying the weight are built in rather than promised. Nobody owns a topic. It exists because people write in it, so there is no name for a first arrival to keep and no mod team that comes attached to the subject; the moderators whose calls you see are a group you pick and can change, and two people reading the same topic through different ones are both getting what they asked for. Kuldron enforces its Terms underneath all of that, and holds no other opinion about what a topic is for. Money is built in the same way. You pay for what you use rather than by tier or in attention: viewers cover the bandwidth they watch or watch ad-supported, creators pay by the streaming minute, and tips and subscriptions carry a 1% platform fee. Kuldron intends to make money. It just makes it when the platform is worth using rather than when it can squeeze more out of you. The ads follow from that: they’re chosen by what’s on the page rather than by who you are, and there is no profile of you for anyone to buy. More tailoring is a setting you turn on, and turning it on pays us more — which we’d rather say than dress up as being for your benefit. Your work stays yours on the same principle: nothing here is exclusive, and you can broadcast on Kuldron and anywhere else at once. Every number here is a claim about people: someone is watching, someone wrote that, this is worth your evening. Bots and feed-farmed posts make those claims lies, and honest people pay for it: the real thing gets buried, and a sponsor who can’t tell a bought audience from a real one discounts everyone’s rate. We have nothing against automation; it’s in our own workflow. What we design against is impersonation and dishonest low-effort content, so participation traces back to a person, buying numbers gets an account removed, and invite-only registration is where this ends up. You can be completely anonymous on Kuldron. You just can’t be a hundred people at once, or a new person tomorrow. Kuldron is privately owned and self-funded: no outside investors, no parent corporation, no board with a number to hit by Friday. It runs on what the people using it pay for it. The reference covers how all of it works, down to every priced item. To reach a person, email [email protected] or come find us in app, in the Kuldron topic.
