About LitArbi
Disputes lawyers lose the last hours before a filing to exhibits, not arguments: renumbering C-14 to C-9, fixing every footnote, rebuilding the list of exhibits and the bundle so that everything agrees. LitArbi keeps exhibits, citations, the list and the bundles in one place, so a late renumbering updates all of them. LitArbi is a native app for macOS and Windows (beta) for litigation and international arbitration, built by an arbitration practitioner. Exhibits. Import documents, folders and e-mails (Outlook .msg included) into a matter. LitArbi reads titles and dates, runs OCR, finds duplicates and splits long volumes into separate exhibits. Numbering. Each matter follows the convention of its court or tribunal: C-1 and R-1, CL-1, CWS-1 and CER-1, or Anlage K 1 and Beilage 1. Number on first citation or in bulk, per submission. Every renumbering can be undone. Citing in Word. A pane beside Microsoft Word inserts citations with page or paragraph pinpoints, in full the first time and in short form afterwards. Update from Brief renumbers the exhibits by order of appearance and rewrites every citation. The list of exhibits and an index of authorities are built from the citations. Add-ins for LibreOffice Writer and Google Docs cite the same way. Bundles and filing. Stamped hearing bundles with an index, or one bookmarked PDF; submission PDFs hyperlinked to the cited page of each exhibit; a metadata check before filing; PDF signing with a certificate or a qualified electronic signature. Teams and data. Matters are stored on your computer and work offline. Firms share matters through LitArbi Server on their own web hosting (PHP and MySQL), with guests for co-counsel and experts, two-step sign-in and optional end-to-end encryption. LitArbi, the company, never sees the data. The interface is in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian. LitArbi is free during the beta (until 31 December 2026); paid plans start in January 2027.
