**Album Shield — Your private photos. Your personal space.** Keep your personal photos and videos in an encrypted vault on your device, separate from your everyday photo library. Album Shield makes it easy to protect sensitive media, organize your collection, and access it with Face ID, Touch ID, your device passcode, or a PIN. Browse photos, play videos, edit images, and manage your collection in one place. Import media from Photos and Files, or send it directly from other apps using the Share button. When you need an item back in your regular library, export it with ease. Your media stays on your device instead of being uploaded to a developer-operated server, giving you control over what you store and share. **Features** * **Protected access:** Unlock your vault with Face ID, Touch ID, your device passcode, or a PIN. * **Duress PIN:** Set a second PIN that opens a separate, empty vault without revealing your main vault. * **Break-In Log:** Record the time and capture a front-camera photo when an incorrect PIN is entered. * **PIN Lockout:** Repeated incorrect PIN attempts trigger an increasing wait before the next try. * **Automatic locking:** Choose when your vault locks, with an optional warning beforehand. * **Private photo and video vault:** Keep imported media separate from your regular photo library. * **Easy importing:** Add media from Photos and Files, or use the Share button in other apps. You can also choose whether to delete originals from Photos after importing. * **Drag to select:** Slide your finger across photos or videos to select multiple items at once. * **Folders and tags:** Organize your collection in a way that works for you, and tag multiple photos at once. * **Remove GPS location:** Remove location data from the photos in your vault in one step. * **Built-in viewing and playback:** Browse photos and watch videos inside the app. * **Photo editing:** Crop, rotate, adjust, filter, or redact photos within your vault. * **Media management:** Rename items, view file information, and delete media you no longer need. * **Recover deleted items:** Restore eligible photos and videos from the locked Hidden section for up to 15 days. * **Easy export:** Save selected items back to your photo library. * **Device storage information:** See how much space remains on your device. * **Light and dark appearance:** Choose the look that suits you. * **Language support:** Use Album Shield in English, French, or Spanish. Album Shield stores your media locally and does not provide cloud backup. Export and back up important files before deleting the app, erasing your device, or moving to a new device.
