MineTwin is very practical and flexible once a proper scenario has been set up. The initial setup does require effort, good quality data and a clear understanding of the operation being modelled. This can be challenging when the required information must be collected and combined from several existing systems, such as mine planning, equipment and production databases. Some work is needed to clean the data and make sure everything fits together correctly. Once that initial hurdle has been overcome, the scenario is much easier to update, reuse and adapt for new studies. The range of settings, reports and visual tools then makes MineTwin very useful for answering many different operational questions.
