Scrieb is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that does the whole job locally: - Drop in an audio or video file and get a transcript with speaker labels: who said what, not a wall of text. - Transcription, speaker identification and summaries all run on your CPU or GPU. Nothing is uploaded. Unplug the network and it still works. - Export to DOCX, PDF or TXT. 90+ languages. No minute limits. The people who use it most are the ones who can't upload: lawyers with client calls, researchers who promised participants confidentiality, doctors, journalists, and anyone whose meetings shouldn't sit on someone else's server. Honest limits: it's paid (free trial, one licence for both platforms), and on a laptop without a GPU it runs at about real time.
