About Should I Quit My Job

Most "should I quit" calculators compare one number to another number and call it a day. This one runs 1,000 simulated versions of your next 5 years instead. You give it four numbers (current salary, target salary, months you expect to search, months of savings) and it does the rest: varies the uncertain parts, compounds raises, and shows you a probability, not a verdict. Year 1 usually favors staying. Year 5 usually flips. The tool shows you when, and how confident that flip actually is. There's also a non-financial input: how you think the new job would feel, converted into a rough dollar-equivalent using real research on what people actually trade for job quality. Free, client-side, no account. Part of the LifeOdds toolset. > Free, no signup, fully client-side. Your salary never leaves your browser. Built as a companion to LifeOdds, a broader Monte Carlo engine for life's bigger decisions.

I've been building LifeOdds (a Monte Carlo decision engine for big life choices) and kept coming back to "should I quit my job" as the single most universal, highest-stakes version of that problem.
