About Takt

Takt is a personal and collaborative knowledge library for everything you want to save and find later. You can save articles, websites, PDFs, YouTube videos, podcasts, notes, and other useful information in one place instead of letting it disappear across bookmarks, messages, downloads, and different apps. Takt is designed around a simple idea: saving information should be effortless, and finding it again should be even easier. Rather than spending time building complicated folder structures or carefully organizing every item, you can quickly add something to Takt and come back to it when you actually need it. Search works across both exact keywords and meaning, so you can find something even when you only vaguely remember what it was about. Takt can also analyze the content you save, making your library more useful over time. Instead of being a passive archive, it becomes a searchable knowledge base you can use for research, learning, projects, work, or everyday life. You can organize your library using collections and tags when you want more structure, while still keeping the capture process fast. Takt is also built for shared knowledge. Collections can be used as collaborative spaces where multiple people save useful resources together. This makes it useful for research groups, teams, friends, students, or anyone who regularly shares articles, videos, PDFs, and other information with other people. Some examples of how people can use Takt: - Build a personal archive of useful information you want to remember. - Save articles and videos to revisit later. - Collect research for a university project or thesis. - Keep PDFs, websites, notes, and other sources around one topic together. - Create a shared research library with friends or coworkers. - Save recommendations, travel ideas, products, recipes, or anything else you might want to find months or years later. - Search through your saved knowledge without remembering exactly where you stored something. Takt is not meant to force you into a complex productivity system. It is designed for people who save a lot of information but want a lightweight way to capture it, organize it when necessary, and reliably find it again. In short: save anything worth remembering, then find it when it matters.

Built Takt because I kept saving useful things and then losing them. Excited to finally launch a simpler way to save, organize, share, and actually find your knowledge again.
