About Termal OS
Termal OS is a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux that turns your Linux servers into a real desktop over SSH. There is no agent to install and no extra port to open: if you can connect with SSH, it works, on a VPS, a dedicated server or shared hosting, without root. Each server opens as a workspace with windows and a taskbar, an SFTP file explorer, a terminal, a Monaco code editor and a browser. You can move files directly between two servers, edit a config file and pull a site with Git without leaving the window. Monitoring is built in: live CPU, memory, disk, network and processes, history with automatic anomaly detection, and live log streaming. Alerts use thresholds set per server and notify you on Telegram, Slack, Discord, a webhook or email. Termal OS also detects your hosted sites with their PHP version and shows your Docker containers. An optional AI ops copilot explains issues in plain language and suggests commands that never run until you click. You bring your own API key. Your servers and credentials stay on your computer. Instead of juggling a terminal, an SFTP client and a monitoring dashboard, you manage everything from one place. Available in 12 languages, and free forever for one server and one user.

Termal OS is a brilliant solution for managing servers remotely. SSH over plain text is elegant and the desktop interface makes it feel native. Great engineering work!
No agent and no extra port, only SSH, means it works on shared hosting where you never get root. Copilot commands that only run after you click is how I'd want that set up too.
Hi everyone 👋 Termal OS opens your Linux servers as a desktop over SSH: files, terminal, editor, live monitoring and alerts. No agent to install. Free forever for one server. Feedback welcome!
